PLURAL TRAJECTORIES AND DIVERSE FORMS OF KNOWLEDGE with DANCE WITHOUT BORDERS

This project brings together 15 years of the company’s experience, engaging with diverse artistic languages and guest artists, reaching out to the city and to the many forms of dance knowledge that have influenced and continue to influence the creative trajectories of Dance Without Borders.

The project includes:

• Continuation of the company’s research with weekly rehearsals, rehearsals in open spaces, and a monthly theoretical meeting for study and reflection;

• Creation, premiere, and initial performances of the show URBAN SENSES (8 performances);

• Creation of 3 video dances (including audio description);

• Organization of a VIDEO DANCE SHOWCASE (including video dances with audio description);

• Touring with 8 OPEN WORKSHOPS (DanceAbility and Dance Without Borders);

• 10 JAM sessions (including 2 international online “Jam Without Borders” sessions);

• 3 KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGES (popular dances, urban dances, and Capoeira);

• 1 TRAINING AND CREATION RESIDENCY (6 meetings);

• 1 GRAFFITI WORKSHOP;

• TOURING OF “TRACES AND PATHS” (8 performances in non-conventional spaces);

• 1 AUDIOBOOK (POETIC GAPS – Dance Without Borders 12 Years, Lucias SP, 2023).
