As Far as the eye can see
2017 – This dance video was part of the project Novas Fronteiras do Olhar – New Frontiers of the Eye, awarded by the 19th edition of Fomento à Dança for the city of São Paulo.
A visual narrative in dialogue with dance, diversity and the city of São Paulo. Different ways to see the city and its inhabitants. The inhabitants of a large metropolis, narrow the world by opening and closing their eyes and their spectacles, as they peer into their inner world by closing their eyelids and through the lenses of their spectacles.
The filming took place at Santa Efigênia Bridge and in the Mirante do Vale building, in São Paulo, with a screenplay by Fernanda Amaral, camera and video direction by Osmar Zampieri and camera operation; Osmar Zamperi, Daniel Lins, Arnold Pasquier, and Ricardo Yamamoto. The participants in the filming besides the dancers of company DANÇA SEM FRONTEIRAS – DANCE WITHOUT BORDERS, were the students of the Dance University Anhembi Morumbi.
